Last week was kind of a whirl wind for me. Everyone in my house was sick, I ended up in the ER (I’m fine now), and the wonderful Shanna from Fiber of All Sorts came over Saturday night for a sewing date and we went to a quilting class together on Sunday. The class was super amazing, not only was it my first ever in person quilting class, but it was with my awesome local chapter of the Modern Quilt Guild – South Sound MQG, but it was taught by the fantastic Katie of Sew Katie Did. I will have more about the class tomorrow!
I did manage to accomplish my goals from last week, I will be posting pictures some time this week, but today is all about the goals for right now! My goal for week 7 is to piece the adorable I Spy blocks into 2 NICU quilts. The blocks were made by the fantastic ladies of the Trust Circle from Do. Good Stitches. I’m excited to piece these and get them quilted!
What are you working on this week? Have you started your February Goal for A Lovely Year of Finishes yet?
Eek about the ER, hope you’re all all better now! Looking forward to hearing about the class, glad you still got to go 🙂
I have my goal about half finished already!
Cannot wait to see the “I Spy” NICU quilts. I have made blocks for “I Spy” quilts before, but have yet to make one. I need to do that, I think!
I hope everyone (including you) are feeling much better! Those Ispy blocks will make super cute baby quilts. 🙂
I’m glad you are feeling better. I read someone else’s blog who went to that class on Sunday, can’t think who right now – oh, Heather North. I’m glad you had a great experience! Those blocks are going to be great for NICU quilts.
glad to hear you are okay.
I have not started my working on my goal yet. Maybe this week.
Glad that you are back home and that everyone is better! Your class sounds like a lot of fun while learning a lot too. How cool that you and Shanna had a sewing date 🙂 Can’t wait to see your I-spy quilts.
