For Christmas I did several embroidery projects that I still haven’t shown you. Now that 2 more of them have been delivered to their recipients…though a touch late, I can show them off.
The first one is for one of my oldest friends in the world. She is a huge fan of penguins and when I saw this design on pinterest, I just knew I had to make it! You can find the link on my embroidery board.
I actually never took a picture of him after finishing, so my lovely friend took this picture and emailed it to me. Isn’t he just too cute?!?
The second one is for my amazing friend Kristy from Hopeful Threads. I just love what Kristy stands for and all that she does for her community and for the global community.
I took her logo from Facebook and turned it into an embroidery pattern. And again…I forgot to take a picture before mailing it off and Kristy was kind enough to email me this picture. I really need to get better about photographing the things that I make! LOL
I hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday!
I love penguins and think I have that same image pinned! I’m not any good at embroidery though, tried and never finished the project.
Your pieces turned out great!
Great job Melissa! I know both were super happy! Thanks for sharing!
Neat. I like your photos!
Those are so cute.
cute and great idea to use Kristy’s logo to make her a gift. I am working on a little boy dressed as a pirate which will go in a hoop when done.
Aww, love that penguin, so cute!
Those are both wonderful, thoughtful presents. The penguin makes me think I might have to do a penguin or two in with my snowmen embroideries!
Wonderful gifts! (I’m bad about not taking the necessary photos, too!)
Love what you did for both gifts!!!!!!!
