Have you commented on my blog in the last 2 days? Have you noticed that I haven’t replied. I’m so sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, and I swear I will, but I have had a great deal of pain in my hands the last 3 days and it has been rather hard for me to even contemplate sitting at the computer, much less typing. I go to the rhuematologist on Monday and I will hopefully get my medications changed, as the ones I am on are clearly NOT working!
In the meantime, how about a sneak peak at a tutorial I have coming up for you next week courtesy of Fat Quarter Shop…
Happy Friday!
I hope you get some relief in those hands Melissa! I, for one, would miss you being able to wow me with your stitching! I love the look of your sneak peek! I’ll be waiting for it. Good luck with the rheumatologist. I know first hand how hard getting those meds right can be.
You are not a bad emailer at all. From experience, it is impossible to do certain things when hands flare up. I have early osteo in my hands combined with ME/CFS and when they play up, it’s all I can do to pick up a drink. I start by soaking my hands in hot water for 10 minutes to get the circulation up, then apply my beloved 10% ibuprofen gel three times a day until it eases. In winter, the gel goes on twice a day, morning and night to keep my hands moving.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the rhematologist appointment on Monday
It’s not like you’ve had your hands full or anything. Other people might not have gotten it done and you’re full of pain!! Take your time lady…and that’s an order! Just go out and enjoy the sunshine …….sometmes you have to step away from the computer AND (dare I say it) the sewing room!
The QAL looks so interesting – can’t join you this time though. I love the look of the sneak peak! Maybe that will be something to try!
Ugh! Hope you feel better soon. (and don’t worry about replying to this…there’s no need.) Take care.
You do NOT need to reply….just hopping over here to let you know of my care and concern and prayers for you to feel better! 🙂
Add me to the list of friends who need no reply – just know that I’m thinkin’ of ya, and praying for some relief for you. You’re MUCH too young to be knowing Mr. A so well…good luck with new meds!
hope your hands do better soon! both hubby and i (much older than you) can tell when the weather changes. we live in central washington so have more hot weather than you, but am sure the rainyness doesn’t help! love the vividness of your sample. have a better day

Oh boy Melissa, I hope your hands start feeling better soon!! BIG HUG!
Oh dear I do hope you feel better soon. Totally understand and sympathize.
OOO! what fun fabrics. I feel for you. I am seeing a rhuematologist too. Hope you find something to work for you soon.
I can’t imagine that anyone is upset that you have not responded. Do you know how many bloggers NEVER respond???? Many….is that answer! You have medical issues that I would hope all of your faithful followers understand. One thing that won’t help you is to fret over what you can’t control. Please keep after those doctors to get your meds changed. I just want you to feel better. 🙂
Forgot (duh!) to tell you that I like what I see in the picture.
So sorry to hear you’ve been having to deal with pain, and in your hands, that has got to be hard. Pain anywhere is not good but you have to use your hands with almost anything you do. I hope you get the correct medicine, soon. Can’t wait to see what tutorial you have for is next week. Fabrics look fun!
Hope you and the little miss have a super weekend. Take care of yourself and no need for reply. I’ll feel my ears burning when you’re reading it. hehe. xoxo
Ooooh, enticing! Save your hands for sewing.
You know you never have to reply to me! I just come here to show my love and support. I am praying for good things to come out of your appt Monday! And you know I love your sneak peek. 🙂
I’m sorry to hear you’re having a hard time. Sometimes acknowledging that you’ve hit a rough patch can really take some of the pressure off–your expectations for yourself are probably higher than everyone else’s.
It’s good to know you won’t have to wait months for an appointment. Take it easy until then.
You are a great emailer,I can attest to that! Where in blogger etiquette does it say you Have to respond to every single comment? Although you usually do,sometimes life happens,so just go with the flow. Take a break, step outside with Ann,take a walk, smell the flowers…..
Hope you get some relief Pronto for the pain 🙂 We love you even if you can’t answer every single comment All the time,we know you would if you could! Cuz you are just sweet like that !! No reply needed 😉
