Merry Disney Vacation

Last week I was out of touch with the real world and lost in the beautiful world of Disneyland and California Adventures.  We took my mom with us and had an amazing time! Dad was invited too but sadly, he couldn’t make it work (hopefully next time he can join us).  Here are a couple of my favorite pictures from our trip.

We got to watch them light the big Christmas tree on Main Street in Disneyland, there is just something so magical about Disney, it doesn’t seem to matter what age you are, everyone feels that magic.

Disney Vacation - https://www.sewbittersweetdesigns.comI will share a few more pictures this week and also my finish for December, I was short on sewing time but was able to finish up a few sewn Christmas gifts before we left.

Happy Holidays!

Thank you for sharing these great pictures! The background behind you in the first one reminded me that the first time I went to Disney was in the early 60s. We never went anywhere on vacation, but my parents took us to Disneyland and to visit my Uncle Ed, a professor at UCLA. What a beautiful ride, before the interstate was open – we went from Tucson across to San Diego, through the mountains, then up to Anaheim. It was just the most wonderful trip and Disneyland was really a magic kingdom, even to a teenager. I’ve been there many times since, though not in the last 25 years, and it was always filled with magic. I’m glad you got to go as a family, and at least your mom could go, too. What a treat for Anne! It looks a little chilly for Anaheim!

Disney and I are both celebrating our 60th Celebration this year, lol! I’ve been there twice, and it’s always special. Glad you got to experience the magic and leave the rest of the world behind for a time. Merry Christmas!
