A Lovely Year of Finishes – March Goal Party

alyof2015Does that say March?!? What happened to February?  February is almost a wasted month for me, it is never here for long enough.  With March here that means it is time for a new fresh goal. My guild has our yearly exhibit at our local Arts Walk in April and I need to get my project quilted and bound. Since it is a secret project (my choice, not the rules), I’m only showing the backing today.

Divergent Backing - https://www.sewbittersweetdesigns.comThe quilt is already spray basted, now I just need an awesome quilting plan (I sort of have one in the back of my mind) and I need to bind it.

What about you? What one goal will you pick?

You have two requirements to be entered into the prizes this month.

1. Link-up {on this post} the first 7-days of the month

Please choose ONE project

2. Link-up in the last 7-days of the month

Only with a completed, successful project. And yes the same one that you choose earlier in the month.

Add your blog post or flickr photo (with appropriate descriptions) to the linky party below.

Please grab a button or link back to Shanna and I so other people can join in the fun!

And if you are on twitter or Instagram tag #ALYoF

**Please note, the linky party is the same here and over at Shanna , so there is no need to enter twice **

How do you like the spray basting? I’ve never used it but once used a batting with a heat activated adhesive. It was a little difficult to get on right, but once done I liked it. If you like the spray, which one do you use? Have you found a difference between brands?

Good luck with your goal. Great prizes for this month. Thanks for hosting.

  5. Wonderful colors on the back, very excited now to see the top.

I should probably go finalize what I want my March goal to be. This year I’m dedicated to finishing WIPs each month. However, I have a couple of big projects this month that need completed. Hmmm.

The back looks nice! Decided to link up a project since I’ve caught it still in the sign-up window and it’s something I could *really* do with finishing! 🙂
