October do.Good Stitches Blocks

As I’m sure you all probably know after a year of me posting…I’m part of the Trust Circle of do.Good Stitches. This month we are doing a girl quilt. We were requested to make Wonky Stars following the tutorial from The Silly BooDilly.  Pink background with white stars. Here are the blocks I created.

Next month I am the quilter for my Circle and I need to figure out what I am doing. I think I would like to do a boy quilt because, well let’s face it, I make an awful lot of girl stuff!

Nice blocks! 🙂 I think a boys quilt would be wonderful. Maybe some kind of “I spy” quilt?

  2. Sondra says:

    great block!!!!!!

  3. Snoodles says:

Pretty stars…maybe for a boy, you could do the stars and put something fun in the middle….kind of like an I-spy, like Lisa said above?

  4. CeLynn says:

Pretty lil stars! Maybe you could do a Polaroid block with boy prints as the pic 🙂 Have fun deciding.

  5. Susan says:

I am not fond of pink, but I like your top wonky star quite a bit – must be the perfect shade of almost not-pink. LOL That’s going to be a great quilt. I know you will come up with a great idea for the boys for November.

  6. Vicki says:

Love the wonky stars! You did a great job!

  7. Lisa McGriff says:

I love your blocks! I have filled out a request to join the Do Good Stitches but have not heard anything back…. Sad… I may not have enough experience.. Maybe one day!
